Virtual Assistant Needed for Medical Practice

I appreciate your interest in my virtual assistant (VA) position!

I am a doctorally prepared medical provider seeking a VA for part-time work (20 hours a week). Depending on the hired VA’s performance and integration into the practice, a full-time position is possible.

Responsibilities of the position may include:

• Writing a monthly newsletter
• Developing 2-3 social media posts a week
• Creating electronic forms for patients to complete
• Organizing/responding to emails
• Writing responses to reviews left by patients
• Setting up appointments with vendors/patients
• Creation of spreadsheets for tracking purposes
• Other tasks as needed

The two most important responsibilities would be writing the monthly newsletter for email distribution to patients and developing social media posts.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a reliable computer that can run web-based office, data management, and design software.
• Have a fast and reliable Internet connection
• Demonstrate professional oral and written communication
• Be detail-oriented
• Be reliable
• Be a team player
• Be technologically savvy
• Be willing to use time-tracking software
• Be willing to learn
• Have nursing/medical/medical office experience
• Have at least one year of experience as a VA
• Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
