Ultra-organized and Technical Experienced Project Manager/ Needed for Creative Entrepreneur – Looking for Long-Term VA

We are looking for a highly MOTIVATED and talented Publishing Manager to join our team who is experienced. You should demonstrate excellent people management skills, creativity, super organized, and a great eye for detail and color.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for managing publishing schedules and layouts and choosing colors for various projects, such as Self-help KDP books and social media materials related to books. Also, you should be able to give some creative input and direction.

You will also have some knowledge of design and writing or editing copy. You should be able to work efficiently and accurately while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will be expected to take ownership of all projects by supporting to creating visually appealing and original designs while staying true to company standards of excellence. You must stay up-to-date on current trends within the industry so that our designs remain fresh and innovative for our customers. Furthermore, you should demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as they may be called upon occasionally to collaborate with other departments.

This role requires someone passionate about writing & design, enjoys working collaboratively with others, has an eye for color coordination, is deadline-oriented, and is eager to learn new methods that can increase efficiency. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small publishing team Writer, Designer & Social Media Blogger
• Research relevant techniques and trends in book publishing
• Help with quality written Books, and cover designs that meet customer needs and expectations
• Brainstorm ideas with the team while taking into account customer feedback
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
• Actively collaborate with me (creative director) on creative projects

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or training in project management, writing, graphic design/Canva preferred
• Ability to translate creative ideas into captivating output
• Experience managing high-quality output for digital platforms
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal; ability to take direction when needed
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while remaining organized under pressure
