Cahoon Care Associates, LLC is looking for a Recruiter with full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates, to phone screens and scheduling interviews. The successful recruiter will collaborate with teammates and leadership regularly and proactively identify hiring needs. Additionally, be able to attract candidates using various sources, such as social media, employee referrals, and job boards.
The ideal recruiter is experienced screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the recruiter are to ensure Cahoon Care Associates, LLC attracts, hires, and retains the best employees.
Cahoon Care serves the senior community so that our clients may age in place safely in the comfort of their own homes. Founded in 2010 by mother-in-law / daughter-in-law team, Margery Cahoon Parker, and Carolyn Parker. Margery’s background in finance serving the medical community, coupled with Carolyn’s decades of experience in senior care, and their unique combination of skills, experiences, and vision, resulted in Cahoon Care’s “Real People, Real Care” approach to senior care.
Responsibilities:
• Execute and improve the recruitment process.
• Update job descriptions and specifications as needed.
• Report metrics for objectives.
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, social media outlets, schools, colleges, etc.
• Screen applicants/applications.
• Interview candidates.
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitude.
• Check professional references and verify past employment.
• Perform all applicable background checks for applicants.
• Apply HR recruiting best practices.
• Provide analytic/ recruiting reports to leadership.
• Promote Cahoon Care Associates, LLC’s reputation as best place to work.
• Assist with other administrative duties such as answering phone calls, participating in team meetings, special projects, etc.
Skills:
• Prior recruiting experiences in-house or staffing agency.
• Prior work virtual work experience.
• Experience with veracious selections processes; phone interviews, Zoom interviews, reference checks, etc.
• Ability to organize and assess skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient with Axis or other similar databases.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of virtual work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience recruiting.
• Office equipment including computer with camera and speakers, printer with scanner, and quiet workspace.
