Job Description

This role is a remote opportunity that assists Blue Door Talent, a US-based recruitment firm working with clients in the real estate and construction industry, in the following aspects:
Research
• Company research – research and prepare spreadsheets/target lists that outline companies that might be good targets for our work; as requested, identify specific leaders at those organizations with contact information.
• Candidate Research – identify information about high-potential candidates and help build pipelines of candidates for outreach.
Candidate Coordination
• Scheduling: Schedule candidates on a recruiter’s calendar once they’ve replied and follow up with candidates who have replied but have not scheduled a call.
• Candidate Communication: Once a candidate is engaged, help manage the scheduling and interview coordination process to make it seamless and informative for candidates.
Software, Systems, and Process
• Software management: Integrate new and existing software to prevent manual data processes; automate processes!
• Process improvement: identify ways to streamline manual and laborious processes.
• Formatting – bringing a fresh perspective to formatting Blue Door external documents.
Data Management
• Candidate database – Add new candidates, update candidate profiles, and ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Client/company database – Maintain a robust client database that has information on the key companies that are current or potential clients.
Other Client Service
• Client reports – preparing client reports for mid-level and high-level searches with information on the search strategy, statistics, and candidate activity/resumes.
• Position profiles – helping to assemble position profiles, notably in formatting and information compilation.
• Interview guides – for finalist interviews, helping to prepare a final search summary, client interview guide, and outline meeting logistics.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of attention to detail. You should also be comfortable working with databases and have strong research skills. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and be comfortable collaborating with others in a virtual environment. This role will not require phone interaction with candidates or clients (for example, no cold calling).
Communication Cadence and Hours
• This role will meet with the search team on Mondays and Wednesdays (time TBD) to outline the priorities and deliverables; and periodically as needed throughout the week.
• Hours: Flexible – ideally, at least a few hours are available each day during the Eastern Time work day (8AM – 5PM ET)
