Looking for a full-time virtual assistant on an immediate basis.

Who Are We?

Cap Stack is a startup media company providing a wide range of finance content, including research, analysis, education, and consulting. We focus mainly on distressed companies and credit investing. The name Cap Stack stems from “capital structure,” reflecting our focus (and the Founder’s background) in investing in the debt and equity of companies.

About the Role

The Virtual Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative, research, and strategic support to the Founder. The ideal candidate is a strong researcher and writer, adept at project management, and comfortable coordinating with diverse teams, including graphic design and investment research. They are someone who is keen to grow their skillset and adapt to new challenges, with the potential to operate at the level of a chief of staff in the future. We are a small, tight knit team building the foundation of a future giant.

We seek a candidate eager to grow their skillset, thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and adeptly handle the diverse challenges that come their way. The role has high growth potential, perfect for someone ambitious and committed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform high-quality internet-based research and prepare notes on that research for the Founder.
+ Repurpose long-form articles into punchy short-form text.
+ Support internal operations, including managing project management tools and team coordination.
+ Draft, edit, and proofread documents.
+ Manage calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel.
+ Regularly communicate updates and key information to the Founder.

Qualifications

+ Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience as a Virtual Assistant, Research Analyst, or similar role.
+ Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex information into understandable content.
+ Exceptional organizational skills, with proven experience in project management.
+ Advanced proficiency with office and project management software.
+ Availability to work during company’s business hours, with flexibility as needed.
+ Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, or a related field.
