Job Description

Hi there,
My name is Khoi. I’m looking to hire a virtual assistant to support me in growing my primary business in the men’s fashion, dating and lifestyle niche. ().
Proficient English and a good internet connection are a must. I’m looking for a full-time, long-term team member with a strong work ethic. Having a specialty in social media is what I’m actively seeking.
I’m hiring for these primary responsibilities:
• Social media management (engaging w/feed and followers on all socials)
• Distilling & Curating Content (send to me for sign off before edits & posting)
More specific details below:
1. CURATE VIDEOS
You’ll watch all my Youtube videos and creates as many timestamps of 30 second to 1 minute sound bites from my long form videos.
For each long form video, you can pull out 5-10 short form videos.
You’ll also Remix existing YouTube videos to create shorts and schedule accordingly.
2. WORKING WITH VIDEO EDITOR
You’ll work in tandem with my video editor, sending instructions on what timestamps to edit, so they can create as many short form videos as possible.
3. CURATE TEXTS
You’ll read all my GW Dispatch Newsletters & evergreen articles and writes as many mini-threads as possible to turn into Tweets.
This is the same idea as Step 1, except its all written form.
4. DISTRIBUTE
Social Media Manager schedules all of the short form videos on multiple platforms like YT Shorts, IG Reels, and TikTok for maximum distribution.
Also schedules all of the tweets on Twitter, and creates Instagram Carousels from the Twitter Screenshots. Schedules them on Instagram.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES DOWN THE LINE:
VA / SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
– curate content into social media posts
– Social media updates
– Social media management (engage home feed, liking and commenting, etc..)
– Moderate and manage Facebook group
CONTENT
– Google web stories
– Layout articles in WordPress, add images and prep for publication (I have final editorial sign off for articles, images, etc..)
– Keeping certain pages on the website up to date
– Basic editing of podcast audio files
– Keyword research and researching article ideas, then writing creative briefs based on that research.
– Copywriting (social media posts, ebook outlining, email newsletter copy, etc..)
– Sourcing imagery for articles
– Basic content management tasks
– Basic web development tasks

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
I’m mostly interested in finding someone with the right character, attitude, motivation, and personality than someone who already has all the right skills.

WORKLOAD & TIMEFRAME
I would like to start vetting candidates immediately, and the effective start date would be as soon as I find the right person. Maybe the right person is you? I think it’s realistic to start onboarding the right person in mid-February 2023 and begin the trial period.
The trial period will be 30 days. That way, we both have a chance to see whether we’re a good fit.
I’m looking for a long-term team member, and I would like to continue to expand your role (without overwhelming you).
