Job Description

I’m the Founder/CEO of a seed-stage, venture-backed tech startup in the travel tech / B2B Marketplace industry.

I am looking for a Virtual Assistant to join our team, starting part-time (20 hours or so) but can quickly become full-time for the right person. You would be supporting our Head of Sales and an Account Executive on various tasks related to sales development, and you may also have the opportunity to work with other great people from my team as we are 11 people full-time with a few contractors, located 100% remotely, including various contractors from the Philippines already.

Job Summary:

As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing efforts, research tasks, and business development projects. Your responsibilities will include drafting social media posts, conducting research, assisting with business development tasks, and more. We value creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development

Create leads lists using tools like for our team to send out weekly via HubSpot.
Create proposals after listening to sales call recordings and looking at notes generated from as well as what’s in HubSpot.
Identify new leads and potential business opportunities (using LinkedIn)
Research podcasts, contact information, and other relevant data using tools and resources (using Google)

Other Tasks:

Provide administrative support as needed for our Head of Sales (like reading and responding to emails)
Assist with cleaning our HubSpot account.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably supporting Sales teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms namely LinkedIn and Twitter, email marketing tools, and research tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Basic knowledge of sales, or sales development, is a plus.
Access to a stable internet connection and a reliable computer.
