Job Overview:
We are a dynamic pre-startup technology company seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant. You will provide comprehensive support to our executive team and play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of all departments. Your role will extend beyond traditional administrative tasks—you will be our go-to problem solver and information hub. While direct experience in all tasks is not expected, your ability to research, learn rapidly, and apply knowledge will be key in managing diverse tasks across all departments. Your role will include conducting research, creating documents, performing basic marketing tasks, and managing day-to-day administrative duties. If you are proficient in finding solutions for every problem, then you will be a welcomed addition to our small but mighty team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide administrative support to the executive team.
– Conduct thorough research on various topics to support decision-making and project development.
– Create high-quality documents such as reports, presentations, proposals, and spreadsheets with attention to detail.
– Assist in basic marketing tasks, including social media scheduling, creative briefs, and campaign trackers.
– Manage communication between departments to ensure the alignment of objectives and tasks.
– Organize and maintain digital filing systems to ensure information is easily accessible within the company.
– Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
– Support project management activities, including tracking deadlines, updating project plans, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
– Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of the company.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role.
– Excellent proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
– Strong research skills and the ability to compile and interpret data effectively.
– Basic understanding of marketing principles and experience with social media management tools.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain high productivity in a remote environment.
– Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
– A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making capabilities.
– Previous experience working in a startup or tech environment is highly desirable.
– A commitment to continuous learning and growth in a fast-paced industry.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time remote position. The candidate must have a reliable internet connection and a home office setup.
Flexible hours are required, with availability for occasional meetings or tasks outside of standard business hours. Must be able to work a majority of the work day in the UK timezone.
