Virtual Assistant to the Executive- Job Description
Seeking a professionally skilled online Virtual assistant to support our Chief Executive/ Company Owner with a variety of tasks that support an online retail operation.

The ideal Virtual Assistant will be interested in growing their skill set while supporting our online based retail company. Virtual Assistants should be able to learn new processes and programs quickly as the need arises, and have the ability to adapt to changing tasks and assignments. The successful Virtual Assistant candidate will be someone who has flexibility with their work schedule and is able to attend training sessions via Zoom web conferences.
We currently have a team of Virtual assistants that do a variety of tasks and support different departments within our organization. We have a need to bring on an additional person to provide direct support to the company owner and have this person complete some of the tasks that the Owner is currently doing themselves.
The successful candidate must have EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills, with an exceptional ability to communicate in the English language. The successful candidate will receive many instructions via email and whatsapp message, so it is important that communication in english (both formal and informal styles of writing/texting) are a strength for the successful candidate.
It is critical that the successful candidate have the following:
High speed internet access that is reliable with an alternative option available should the need arise
A backup power supply in the event of black out/ weather based power issues
High speed/reliable PC computer
At least 2 screens to be able to complete a variety of data based tasks
The MS Office Suite (specifically excel formulas & docs)
Experience with Google Suite (slides, sheets, docs, calendar, Drive)
Whatsapp Messenger
Virtual Assistant Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to;
Solving customer problems such as a change or cancelation to their order
Solving customer inquiries such as the status of their order, payment status, shipment tracking, etc.
Looking up orders from various e-commerce platforms
Listing product items across multiple e-commerce platforms
Adjusting product pricing and inventory, relisting inventory
Verifying completed orders and sending tracking information
Combining invoices in eBay
Tracking and reporting Seller performance notifications and response communications
Reporting and replying to negative & neutral eBay feedback
Creating weekly data/metrics Google slide report for managers meeting
Preparing reports in Excel using formulas
Organizing and responding to product offers on eBay
Unsubscribing from emails
Monitoring and managing aspects of social media platforms
It would be preferable if the successful candidate had prior knowledge of the following:
Photoshop
ShipStation
BigCommerce
Social media platforms (Facebook)
ZenDesk, Monday, Slack, Trello
