We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team and help manage our diverse online business portfolio. This role encompasses various tasks related to content creation, social media management, advertising, marketing, administrative duties, business planning, design, development, and digital product management. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting our mission and is eager to grow with us, potentially taking on larger roles within the company over time. We are a small family business looking to expand through multiple channels and would love to find the right VA who can meet our immediate and long-term needs.
Potential Responsibilities include:
Content Creation & Management:
• Blog Posts:
– Produce at least one post per month focused on nursing clothing, including product insights, care tips, and lifestyle content.
– Craft engaging DIY and family-centric articles to build community.
• Social Media Content:
– Generate daily content for TikTok (1-2 videos/day) and Facebook/Instagram (Stories and 2 reels/day) with strategic hooks, SEO, and effective CTAs.
• Pinterest Management:
– Create and schedule approximately 60 pins per month, ensuring consistent branding and strategic linking to blog content or products.
• Keyword & SEO:
– Perform regular keyword research to inform content creation and optimize online presence.
– Maintain SEO best practices across all digital platforms.
Advertising & Marketing:
• Ad Creatives:
– Design and iterate ads for all social media platforms, with bi-monthly reviews of analytics to adjust strategies.
– Monitor and adjust keywords, including identifying negative keywords.
• Email Marketing:
– Craft and schedule at least one marketing email per month with compelling design and clear CTAs.
• Market Expansion:
– Explore and potentially implement expansion strategies to new platforms, such as Twitter.
Administrative Duties:
• Product Management:
– Regularly update and validate product photos and videos.
– Conduct bi-weekly storefront audits for inventory and functionality.
• Inventory Control:
– Update inventory tracking files and conduct manual inventory checks.
• Customer Service:
– Manage customer inquiries via email, chat, and process returns.
• Collateral Creation:
– Design and produce print materials, such as tags and inserts.
• Media Production:
– Handle filming and editing tasks for product showcases and content marketing.
Business Planning & Analysis:
• Strategic Planning:
– Assist in planning business activities a year in advance, including sales, giveaways, and holiday-themed events.
• Competitor Research:
– Analyze competitors to understand new product trends and identify competitive advantages.
• Trend Monitoring:
– Stay abreast of industry trends in terms of colors, designs, styles, and product innovations.
Design & Development:
• Product Design:
– Contribute to the design of new products, aiming for the release of one new design per month.
• Website Management:
– Ensure continuous updates and improvements to website design to enhance user experience.
Digital Product Development:
• Printable Content:
– Ideate and create new printable content that adds value to the customer experience.
• E-Book Production:
– Develop and finalize e-book content as part of the digital product offerings.
Management for Content Hosting Site:
• Content Acquisition:
– Identify and engage with new content creators 4-7 days a week.
– Establish relationships with potential affiliates and high-quality creators.
• Social Media for Platform:
– Manage the creation of pins and ads, and perform manual searches for creator content to feature.
• Advertising Strategy:
– Develop future advertising plans to increase platform visibility and user engagement.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Affiliate Marketing and Partnerships:
– Identify and reach out to potential affiliate partners, influencers, or bloggers that cater to our target demographic for nursing-friendly clothing and digital products.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Advanced Canva and/or Photoshop skills
• Comfortability with GenerativeAI tools like ChatGPT, DALLe, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with eCommerce and web design (Shopify, WordPress)
