Job Description

Looking for a V.A. to help review screen recordings of photography/video editing that we’ve done and then help us to create training systems from these recordings.

Eventually we’d want to move you up to a project manager where you would help us to manage photography & video projects from beginning to end and would send off the raw media to editors (or edit the media yourself) and eventually:

1) Communicate with us to understand the details and deliverables for a specific photography or video project.

2) Once the deliverables are confirmed and you understand the overall project you would use the Dropbox link we provide you to send the Raw media to an editor that we’ve already hired and communicated with (or you could also help us find another editor that produces better quality)

3) Once you send the Raw media to the editor you’d explain the exact deliverables that are expected from the editor and provide them with a requested delivery date.

4) After the editor sends over the edited photos or video you would review the deliverables and make sure the edits are acceptable. You’d be looking for things like:
a) Ensuring correct White Balance between photos (making sure 1 photo isn’t too blue, and then the next one is too yellow, etc.)
b) Making sure the photos are properly exposed (not too dark, not too bright)
c) Helping us come up with other criteria to determine what’s “good and acceptable”

5) Once you deem the deliverables are correct you would message us with the link to the finished media

6) Depending on the type of project this may or may not be the end of the project- for video projects there are a few other steps where we put a rough draft together, send to the client, receive their feedback, complete new edits, deliver a new version, etc. For all projects we assign you in the beginning we’ll very clearly explain what the exact steps are to follow.

7) The job would also include developing a system including checklist, flowchart, etc. for each individual type of project that you manage so that the tasks you do and perform as a Project Manager are clearly documented and explained.

8) Help us to find inefficiencies in the process and where we can improve our workflow- help us to innovate how the entire process works of receiving an inquiry from a client, closing the sale, scheduling & capturing the media, editing the media, sending the deliverables & ensuring the client is happy and satisfied.
