Job Description:

We are looking for a proficient Virtual Assistant with extensive experience in wearable technology, mobile applications, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of high-performance processors, PCB boards, and various sensors. This role requires collaboration with our engineering team to ensure seamless hardware and software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Design and Development:
Assist in selecting and integrating high-performance processors such as Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3.
Work with sensors like accelerometers, LiDAR, ambient light sensors, and dot projectors.
Design and develop custom PCB boards for wearable devices.
Integrate wireless communication technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Develop architecture for circuitry and components.

Firmware and Software Development:
Develop and customize firmware for real-time data processing and communication.
Utilize various development tools and SDKs for efficient data handling.
Collaborate with software engineers to develop comprehensive mobile applications compatible with iOS and other platforms.
Lightly integrate AI capabilities for future enhancements.

Prototyping and Testing:
Create 3D models of wearable devices for design validation.
Prepare schematics and layouts for PCB printing and manufacturing.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and best practices.

Battery Design and Optimization:
Design custom batteries with high energy density and efficiency.
Implement low-power design principles to extend battery life.
Integrate Battery Management Systems (BMS) for optimal performance.

Project Management:
Coordinate with the engineering team to manage project timelines and deliverables.
Document technical specifications, designs, and development processes.
Provide regular updates on project status and milestones.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in wearable technology and mobile device development.
Proficiency in PCB design and development with proven experience in creating complex circuit boards.
Strong understanding of high-performance processors, sensors, and firmware integration.
Excellent knowledge of computer hardware and mobile device architecture.
Extensive experience with prototyping and testing electronic devices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and remotely, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Hardware Engineering, or a related field. Formal education on these specific topics is required.
Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and go to extreme lengths to protect company data, with potential fines for breaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in smartwatch development.
Familiarity with wearable technology trends and advancements.
Knowledge of low-power design principles for wearable devices.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for PCB design and mobile application development.
