Virtual Assistant – Wholesale Product Sourcing

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Assistant with a strong background in product sourcing, specifically in the European and US wholesale markets. The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills and a keen eye for profitable opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct extensive market research to identify profitable wholesale products from reliable sources within the European and US markets.
Conduct product analysis, including cost comparison and profitability evaluation for potential products on Amazon.
Use and master tools such as Jungle Scout, Helium 10, Keepa, and other relevant software for product research and market analysis.
Regularly report findings and provide recommendations for profitable product acquisitions.
Maintain a thorough database of sourced products and prospective suppliers.
Assist in negotiating purchase prices, delivery, and terms with suppliers.
Monitor industry trends and perform competitor analysis to ensure our product offerings remain competitive.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a virtual assistant or relevant role in product sourcing, preferably in the wholesale sector.
Familiarity with product sourcing platforms, e-commerce marketplaces, and relevant software such as Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and Keepa.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate costs and potential profits.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
High proficiency in written and spoken English.
Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
Knowledge of the e-commerce business model and understanding of market trends.
Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Hours:

While we offer flexible scheduling, we anticipate that the role will require approximately from 4 to 8 hours per day. Please note that work hours will be monitored and verified through a time-tracking application to ensure accurate compensation for hours worked.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting wage for this role is $3 per hour, however, this can be negotiated upwards based on proven prior experience, supported by references or recommendation letters from previous employers. The payment structure for this role is weekly.
