Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Assistant to join our team, specializing in government contracts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in writing proposals and sourcing contract opportunities on platforms like and other similar government websites. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the government contracting process.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Writing and Preparation:
Drafting, editing, and finalizing proposals for government contracts.
Understanding and integrating the requirements of government RFPs (Requests for Proposals) into proposals.
Ensuring compliance with all government guidelines and specifications in proposal submissions.
Opportunity Research:
Regularly searching and identifying potential government contract opportunities on and other relevant platforms.
Evaluating opportunities to determine their alignment with our company’s capabilities and objectives.
Document Management and Organization:
Maintaining and organizing all proposal documentation.
Keeping track of submission deadlines and ensuring timely submissions of proposals.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaising with various departments to gather necessary information for proposals.
Communicating with government agencies for clarifications and updates on proposals and contracts.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
Staying updated with changes in government contracting processes and requirements.
Attending relevant webinars and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in government contract proposals writing and opportunity sourcing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with platforms like and other government contracting sites.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
No degree is necessary, but relevant experience in government contracting is a must.
