Job Description

Instructional Designer for Elearning VA

Responsibilities:
– Create engaging PowerPoint presentations and interactive eLearning courses using Captivate.
– Create and edit videos using premiere pro, Captivate (and Canva).
– Format Participant Workbooks, Instructor Guides and Presentation Decks using Pages.
– Work on projects with extremely high attention to detail.
– Other duties not listed may be required
– Turn written content into e-learning/video concepts and execute it.

Qualifications:
– Proficient in graphic design tools such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, Storyline, and Captivate, Canva Pro.
– Ability to follow strict brand style guides and adapt to varying design requirements.
– Experience in creating educational materials and courses is a plus.
– Fluent in English and capable of adhering to tight deadlines.
– Must have an updated mac (with adobe products for 2023/24)
– Must have access to Adobe Captivate
– Graphic Design experience is highly valued
– Able to take initiative and strong leadership capabilities
– Project management skills

Compensation:

Content Editor, Writer and Researcher VA

Responsibilities:
– Edit and format documents, ensuring they align with Canadian and American grammar standards.
– Conduct thorough research on course topics and cite sources accurately.
– Ensure writing style is consistent with brand voice and guidelines.
– Work on writing educational content like brochures, instructor guides, workbooks, and textbooks.
– Format Participant Workbooks, Instructor Guides and Presentation Decks using Pages.
– Administrative duties may be required (project management, updating calendars)
– May be asked to support team members with their roles to ensure project deadlines are met
– Staying up to date on tools to ensure we are working effectively and efficiently
– Create assessments, branching scenarios, etc for user understanding.

Qualifications:
– Strong command of English grammar and expertise in formatting and citation styles.
– Familiarity with Pages, Storyline, Captivate, and other relevant tools.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
– Experience in content creation for creative and technical courses is preferred.
– Strong ability to research and fact check.
– Able to take initiative and strong leadership capabilities
– Project management skills
– Must have an updated Mac (with adobe products for 2023/24)

Bonus Qualification
– LMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems is a significant plus. Please highlight any experience with LMS platforms in your application.

Virtual Assistant Team Lead

Responsibilities:
– Project Management: Utilize your project management expertise to ensure all team members are meeting deadlines, projects are progressing smoothly, and goals are being achieved.
– Calendar Management: Efficiently manage calendars, schedules, and appointments for team members to optimize productivity.
– Email Management: Handle and organize incoming emails, ensuring prompt responses and prioritizing critical correspondence.
– File Organization: Maintain an organized file system, making it easy for the team to access essential documents and resources.
– Instructional Design: Apply your instructional design skills to create engaging training materials and content for our projects.
– Content Writing: Craft compelling content for various purposes, including articles, blog posts, marketing materials, and more.
– Proofreading and Reviewing: Review and proofread content and documents for accuracy, grammar, and clarity.
– Project Support: Be ready to jump in and provide support on various projects, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
– Tool Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest project management, instructional design, and content creation tools. Research and implement new tools to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
– Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative tasks, including creating paystubs, managing expenses, and performing any other necessary tasks to support the team.

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
– Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management software tools.
– Proficiency in calendar management, email handling, and document organization.
– Instructional design skills and content writing experience.
– Excellent proofreading and reviewing skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
– Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
– Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
– Strong problem-solving and research abilities.
– Any additional certifications or training in instructional design, content writing, or project management is a plus.
