Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our team. As an Assistant in our self-publishing business, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about books and online marketing, as well as eager to learn about the publishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interior book formatting, ensuring that text, images, and layout adhere to publishing standards and guidelines.
• Collect, organize, list in Excel, and upload bills into the tax platform, maintaining accurate records for financial purposes.
• Support online marketing campaigns by assisting with content creation, social media management, and campaign monitoring.
• Collaborate on cover and mockup design projects, providing creative input and support to achieve visually appealing results.
• Assist with copywriting tasks, including drafting promotional materials, product descriptions, and website content.

Qualifications:
• Enthusiasm for books, publishing, and online marketing.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel for data organization and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and resourceful approach.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work with accuracy.
• Basic proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Krita.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and a basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; good knowledge of German is preferable.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in online marketing or publishing is a plus but not required.
