About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to assist with daily project management tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in researching, writing, budgeting, and preparing various proposals and sales pitches. This role involves tracking government and private sector calls for new startups and small companies, and preparing all necessary documentation to participate in these opportunities. The successful candidate will help streamline operations, allowing for greater efficiency and focus on core business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and track government and private sector calls for new startups and small businesses.
Conduct research on published projects and opportunities relevant to our interests.
Develop, write, and budget project proposals.
Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, budgets, and sales pitches.
Assist in the creation and submission of project applications.
Manage and organize all related paperwork and documentation.
Collaborate with the primary stakeholder to ensure all projects are accurately prepared and submitted on time.
Perform other administrative and project management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management, proposal writing, and budgeting.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling proposals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in tracking and applying for government and private sector funding opportunities.
Familiarity with startup ecosystems and small business development.
Knowledge of public procurement processes and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
