Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with a passion for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial health of an organization? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant. We need an exceptional Bookkeeper as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses, into accounting software.
Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding, and schedule timely payments to suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Generate and send customer invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Prepare and process employee payroll, including salary calculations, tax deductions, and benefits, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
Assist in generating financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for internal review and external compliance.
Monitor and categorize business expenses, maintain organized expense records, and track spending patterns for budgeting purposes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential cost-saving opportunities, and areas for financial improvement.
Compile and organize necessary financial documentation for tax preparation, including income statements, deductions, and other relevant records.
Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and tax advisors to provide financial information, answer queries, and support the overall financial management of the organization.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
Solid knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
