Job Description:
As our Virtual Bookkeeper and Financial Analyst, you will work remotely and play a crucial role in building and managing our QuickBooks account from the ground up. You will be responsible for implementing the Profit First model within our financial processes and ensuring meticulous tracking and recording of expenses, both personal and business-related.
Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Management:
Build and maintain our QuickBooks account, accurately recording all financial transactions.
Implement the Profit First model within QuickBooks to align with our business operations.
Regularly reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Expense Tracking and Reporting:
Track all business and personal expenses, categorizing them appropriately within QuickBooks.
Generate weekly reports on expenses, providing detailed insights and analysis for business decision-making.
Work closely with the management team to identify cost optimization opportunities.
Spreadsheet Expertise:
Utilize advanced spreadsheet skills to create a trackable database for our team’s call activities.
Develop analytical tools to analyze call data and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
Train team members on data entry procedures and ensure data integrity within the spreadsheet system.
System and Process Building:
Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for system and process improvement.
Design and implement efficient systems and processes across all departments of the business.
Ensure all systems and processes are documented and easily accessible to team members.
Continuously monitor and refine systems and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with the Profit First model and its implementation within financial systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) with experience in building complex databases and analytical tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
