We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Virtual Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team and work closely with our Head Bookkeeper. This long-term position offers the opportunity to work remotely and be an integral part of our company.

Responsibilities:
– Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
– Verify receipts and trace payments through cash or transfers.
– Monitor company expenses and create invoices.
– Assist the Head Bookkeeper with payroll and financial report preparation.
– Ensure accuracy of transactions and correct ledger entries.
– Develop daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for management.
– Monitor, track, and record accounts receivable and payable.
– Manage data and files.
– Attend virtual meetings .
– Research and improve financial processes.
– Compare actual results vs budget.
– Assist in decision-making and financial analysis.
– Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of shareholders’ equity.
Requirements:
– 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper.
– Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
– Proficiency in MS Office, Google Tools, and QuickBooks.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
– High integrity and confidentiality.
– In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, best practices, and terminology.
Skills and Attributes:

– Fast learner and highly organized.
– Able to work with minimal supervision and resolve problems.
– Committed and dedicated to work.
Equipment:
– Laptop or desktop with a headset.
– Wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 15mbps.

Work Setup:
– Remote/Work From Home.
– Fixed schedule: Monday to Friday, approx. Minimum 24 hours per week.
– Shifts: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM (1.5 hours break) Vancouver, Canada Timezone (PST).
– Must be dedicated to working during assigned hours.
