Virtual Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our remote team. As a Virtual Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for studying architectural plans and providing accurate cost estimates. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and the sales team to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and accurate. Although training is available, candidates with previous experience in construction estimating or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Evaluate materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project requirements.
• Prepare and submit proposals and bid documents.
• Conduct thorough research and compile data for estimating purposes.
• Negotiate with seasoned sales personnel to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates.

Qualifications:
• Experience in the construction industry, particularly in estimating costs related to architectural plans.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and remote communication tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.
