PART-TIME TO START

Company seeks a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Virtual CPA/Bookkeeper to join our growing team. As a virtual CPA/Bookkeeper, you will manage our financial records, ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and maintain compliance with applicable tax laws. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is comfortable working remotely and is looking to contribute to the success of a dynamic marketing agency.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
2. Prepare and issue client invoices, including adjustments for hourly rates, refunds, or other billing changes.
3. Monitor and track monthly 1099 invoices for contractors, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
4. Send new proposals and invoices to clients as needed, maintaining clear communication and providing exceptional customer service.
5. Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
6. Coordinate with the management team to prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including filing necessary reports and remitting payments.
8. Assist with developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and financial management.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. CPA certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a marketing agency or similar industry.
4. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism.
