Medvisory Inc. is a real estate consulting and property management organization that works with physician clients interested in active and passive real estate investing. Over the last decade, we have coached, mentored, and co-invested in hundreds of real estate properties across Canada with over 100+ physician investors at various stages of their careers. We are organized into four divisions: Advisory, Development, Realty, and Financing.
We are seeking a remote, part-time (20 hrs/week) Digital Marketing Assistant (DMA) who will work in a cross-functional manner across our Realty and Financing divisions. The DMA will take an active role in front-end marketing and back-end company operations. In addition to strong technical and writing skills, we are seeking candidates who possess a solid work ethic and can work independently with remote managerial support.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day content marketing and broker management initiatives. This role will involve working closely with and reporting to two partners, the Head of Realty, and the Head of Financing. During weekly meetings, the partners will set tasks and track your progress in a shared Google sheet. A more detailed Job Description is as follows:
Realty Division
Content Marketing:
-Create and publish 1 original SEO-optimized blog weekly on Medvisory’s website and social media channels.
-Manage Medvisory’s Blog calendar and metrics, which includes all scheduled blog content for the calendar year.
-Create and send out our monthly newsletter
-Develop and manage Medvisory’s Social media content calendar, which includes scheduling content a month ahead.
-Post daily unique content and reels from our Social media content calendar to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to demonstrate expertise in real estate investing.
-Market and secure attendees for our quarterly real estate investment seminars.
Create promotional materials for client intake as required.
-Update and maintain a Weekly task list for task planning, tracking hours worked, and reporting to the Head of Realty.
Real Estate Sales and Property Management
-Post ads on Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji for any Medvisory network tenanted property, including responding to ads and narrowing potential tenant candidates.
Assist in drafting initial Agreement of Purchase and Sale and other related forms as required.
Financing Division
Broker Network Development:
-Create marketing material such as product sheets, flyers and online posters as required.
Update our product sheet as needed and email it to all existing brokers biweekly.
-Contact a minimum of 10 new mortgage brokers every week via email or social media platforms in order to expand private lending opportunities for Medvisory.
-Set-up at least 2 virtual meetings weekly, connecting potential new brokers with senior Financing Division staff.
-Update and maintain a Weekly task list for task planning, tracking hours worked, and reporting to the Head of Financing.
Borrower Network Development:
-Prepare and post promotional material as required to Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji.
Search relevant Facebook groups and identify potential leads.
Property Financing:
-Compile and organize information as necessary for Financing Division staff to verify and underwrite financing deals.
Generate essential documents for transactions between various parties as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
-A College or Undergraduate degree in any discipline
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
-Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
-A sound understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic website design, social and email marketing tools
-Familiarity with Canva, MailChimp, and ChatGPT to assist with content creation
-1-2 years work experience in a digital marketing role is an asset
-Ability to prioritize with urgency to accomplish day-to-day responsibilities
Hours:
This is a part-time position where on average 20 hours are required per week, fully remote, ideally from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST (2 hrs/day), and 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST (2hrs/day), with flexibility on the required of hours (to be agreed depending on the time zone of the candidate).
