Job Description

We are a growing cybersecurity recruiting business/ tech platform that is changing how hiring works in our industry. I’m looking for a virtual assistant to help with a wide variety of activities that are critical to running our business. This will include data management and analytics, support with our business development process (lead management), connecting with potential candidates on LinkedIn, creation of candidate profiles, and many other activities.

The key to success will be the ability to pick up new activities quickly, and be able to ask for feedback and incorporate learnings into the work. We also need top-notch English skills, as you will be communicating with customers and candidates.

Base pay is $650/ month with the ability to double monthly income (to $1,300) by hitting performance and quality targets. The way this will work is that we will jointly set output objectives based on the work to be done each day. Over time, these productivity goals will go up, as the tasks become more familiar. We will keep track of whether those goals are hit each day, and the monthly bonus will be awarded based on the proportion of days that output/ quality objectives are reached. The targets will be designed to constantly provide challenge, but also be attainable.

We can do the 13th month of pay if performance is strong.

The work expectation is 8 hours/ day, 5 days/ week. Holiday and vacation days are included (with vacation based on mutual agreement). I live in Denver, CO, and don’t need your hours to completely overlap with mine, however, I do want to make sure that we have a consistent 2 hours of each day where we are jointly working. Generally I work each day from 9-3 (11 pm-4 am Manila time) with a bunch of odd working hours around that- so I need 2 of your hours to be in that window. This is so that we can align on the work to be done that day, and have time for questions, discussion, and feedback.

The work includes:
Maintaining our job board (cleaning out closed roles, adding new ones, creating new employer profiles, etc)
Building profiles for candidates that register on our site
Compiling our email newsletters
Handing some amount of initial outreach with candidates
Managing and maintaining our candidate and client database
Building leads and putting potential leads into our business development cycle
Other various projects as needed by the business
Structuring ‘how’ you will do you work, and keeping track of productivity metrics

Requirements:
Excellent English and communication skills
Creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
Comfort handling new and changing tasks, and learning a wide variety of tools
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft excel
Basic level data / analytical skills
A fast computer and strong internet connection (minimum RAM: 8GB, 8th gen Core i5 or better, 10 Mbps minimum internet connection)
Positive energy

Candidates with a successful track record of being a VA doing similar tasks will be preferred.
