Job Description

Seeking an enthusiastic individual to perform administrative duties and support Australian business operations. As a virtual assistant, you will be responsible for many special projects and broader general administrative activities.

Responsibilities:

Being a newly created position there will be a need for tasks to expand as the position evolves. The below is merely a general guideline of the activities expected to be performed in this role, they are not limited to this list and include:

· Administrative duties including managing and organising calendars and attending video meetings on a regular basis.

· Travel arrangements such as assisting with researching destinations (local and international) for travel and investment purposes, booking flights, accommodation, transport, and itineraries.

· Conducting research for business services projects (local and international) and compiling information for presentations.

· General support such as scheduling domestic maintenance and services, and personal purchasing needs as required.

· Communicating on a regular basis by sending and answering email requests and calls promptly.

· Arranging meeting attendees and booking remote or in-house offices and rooms, at times with catering.

· Organising events like workshops or conferences and creating presentation material.

· Events management – assisting with planning and coordinating events such as private dinners and social functions.

· Build a comprehensive catalogue of resources including travel, events activities, meeting locations, catering, and domestic resources for future use.

Qualifications and Skill Sets:

Below are the qualifications we are looking for in a virtual assistant:

· Degree in Business, Finance, Business Management or Marketing.

· Ability to manage a calendar and schedule appointments.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and public relations (a bonus, not essential).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Familiarity with social media platforms.

· Proficiency with cloud-based platforms such as Google Docs, Skype, and other remote team messaging apps.

· Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· High-speed internet connection a must.
