Virtual Graphic and Web Designer (Wix Specialist)

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Virtual Graphic Designer who specialises in Wix and is comfortable working during UK business hours. This role involves crafting visually striking and user-centric websites, ensuring each project resonates with its intended audience and adheres to the client’s brand ethos. As a critical member of our creative team, you will have the opportunity to shape online experiences and contribute significantly to our clients’ digital presence.

Key Responsibilities:
– Designed and developed engaging, aesthetically pleasing websites using Wix, tailored to client specifications.
– Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their branding, target audience, and design needs, transforming these elements into compelling web designs.
– Modify and enhance Wix templates and elements, delivering bespoke and impactful digital experiences.
– Ensure website designs are responsive and optimised for various devices and screen sizes.
– Apply fundamental SEO principles to improve website search visibility.
– Craft striking visual content for various marketing mediums, including social media, email campaigns, brochures, and presentations.
– Design unique brand identities and logos representing and speaking for our clients.
– Produce original illustrations and icons to elevate the visual narrative of projects.
– Remain abreast of the latest trends and best practices in graphic and web design.
– Engage in effective communication with clients and team members via email, chat, and video, ensuring project clarity and cohesion.
– Embrace feedback, providing thoughtful and innovative revisions.
– Foster a positive, collaborative, and solution-focused work environment.

Requirements:
– Essential: Proven experience in graphic design and website development.
– Demonstrable skill in using the Wix platform for web design.
– A firm grasp of visual design principles, including colour theory, typography, and layout.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a flair for working independently.
– Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with solid time management and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design software.
– Desirable: Familiarity with other web design platforms like WordPress or Squarespace.
– An understanding of SEO principles.
– Skills in illustration and animation.
– Prior experience in collaborating with remote teams.
– A good command of the English language.
– Has a good internet connection speed.
