Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Virtual IT Support Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background and be proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting various systems and networks. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide remote technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or remote access tools.
• Perform regular maintenance of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and hardware components.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of IT infrastructure.
• Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and manage the IT equipment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
• Assist in training users on new technologies and software applications.
• Respond to and manage IT support tickets in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network security practices and anti-virus programs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
