Company Overview: We are a rapidly expanding Case Management provider located in California. As we broaden our horizons, we’re eager to strengthen our team of Care Coordinators with a diligent, detail oriented and enthusiastic Virtual Medical Assistant.
Role Overview: We are searching for a virtual medical assistant who exemplifies professionalism, a keen attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, tech-savvy, and willing to work collaboratively in a team environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
Audit patient files for accuracy
Review and assist in development of patient care plans
Utilize AI to develop care plans
Actively research resources for our patients
Handle data entry, appointment scheduling, email management, and client-staff text communication.
Assist in updating compliance reports
Oversee our Quality Management processes at various intervals.
Attend remote trainings and staff meetings via Zoom.
Manage phone interactions concerning inquiries, appointments, and data verification with commendable etiquette.
File and route documents via Notion..
Ensure projects/tasks are seen from inception to completion.
Contact doctors offices, fill out forms for patients
Client & Case Manager Interaction:
Strictly comply with the HIPAA policy.
Reconcile Case manager calls and transcripts with compliance reports
Navigate through electronic medical records
Qualifications:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, and Care Plan Development
Strong analytical and comprehension skills.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical-related role.
Working knowledge of how to use ChatGPT, Claude AI and other AI tools
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft and a quick aptitude for new apps/processes.
Reliable internet, dedicated work area, and a high-spec desktop computer (Core i7 or Ryzen 7). Noise-canceling
headphones are a must.
Familiarity with time-tracking tools involving screenshots.
