Virtual Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Virtual Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Virtual Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential administrative and clinical support to our medical professionals and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Support:
Manage and schedule virtual appointments for healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Mainly focus on filling of faxes in correct patient’s medical record
Looking after the email, basically to provide them with the timing slots available to book them for upcoming days.
Patient Education:
Provide basic information to patients regarding prescribed medications, treatment plans, and general health guidelines.
Assist in delivering health education materials through virtual channels.
Compliance and Privacy:
Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with virtual care standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical assistant training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.
