Virtual Medical Assistant fast pace/Health care professional

we want a multi-skilled professional maintaining a friendly attitude with patients and ability to manage the work for one doctor. Professional and healthcare experience as follows; scheduling patients, assisting on follow ups, texting with patients, reviewing faxes, processing medical records, inputting data into the EMR system (Electronic Medical Record), requesting missing lab results, imaging results and consult notes for upcoming appointments, creating encounters. Last but not least when trained help out with answering HIGH VOLUME phone calls, taking detailed messages and forwarding to appropriate staff members,
Must answer all questions to apply for the job:

2. Workstation a MUST – well equipped desktop, two monitors and backup internet.
3. Neurologist specialty experience a plus. If yes, list few medications you are familiar.
4. Covermymeds experience?
5. Knowledge of medical records and break/upload by specialty?

MUST HAVE:
a. Number of years experienced in the VIRTUAL medical field?
b. Number of years experienced as VIRTUAL medical assistant?
c. Have you worked in an MD – medical office? if yes, how many years? U.S. base?
d. Register Nurse, year graduated?
e. Are you able to answer HIGH VOLUME calls and take detailed messages?
f. Are you familiar with the EMR system (Electronic Medical Record)? if yes, LIST THEM.
g. Familiar with the medical terminology and medications?
h. Are you able to work Pacific Time? Los Angeles time zone, 8:30am-5:30pm – Monday to Friday

Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a virtual assistant in the healthcare industry.
Strong competency with technology use (i.e. gmail, Outlook, Teams and EHR systems)
Exceptional patient care/customer service skills
Strong knowledge and adherence to HIPAA standards
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating active listening, communication, empathy and concern for others, and problem-solving capabilities
Highly organized and detail oriented

MUST HAVE:
Experience taking med/side effect calls
Experience taking refill requests
Medical clinical experience such as RN, MA, HIPAA training and experience.
