Job Description:
We are looking for a Virtual Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our remote team and assist in managing the mortgage application process for our Australian clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mortgage industry and excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist mortgage brokers in preparing and processing mortgage applications.
– Collect and verify necessary documentation from clients.
– Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on their application status.
– Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties to facilitate the mortgage approval process.
– Prepare and submit loan applications to lenders.
– Monitor the progress of applications and follow up with clients and lenders as needed.
– Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
– Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing emails.
– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry or a related role.
– Proficiency in mortgage processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Familiarity with Australian mortgage regulations and processes is a plus.
