Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to a bankruptcy attorney. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing documents, updating spreadsheets, communicating with clients via email and text messages, and ensuring accurate data entry into our database. This job requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Manage document exchange: Receive, organize, and distribute documents related to bankruptcy cases.
Catalog documents: Maintain an organized system for storing and accessing case-related documents.
Update spreadsheets: Utilize Google Sheets to track case progress, client information, and other relevant data.
Email communication: Compose and send emails to clients, court officials, and other relevant parties using Gmail.
Text message communication: Send text messages to clients regarding case updates, appointment reminders, and other pertinent information.
Data entry: Accurately enter information into the database, ensuring that all details are recorded without errors.
Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive client information with discretion and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
Work at a good pace: Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Collaborate with team members: Coordinate with other members of the legal team to ensure smooth case management and communication.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets and Gmail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Reliable internet connection and home office setup conducive to remote work.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures (preferred but not required).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Availability to work during standard business hours.
