Job Description

We are a small law firm in CA seeking a full-time assistant to handle our day to day miscellaneous matters in addition to payroll, billing, invoicing, electronically filing, and regular bookkeeping and general administrative work, booking clients, following up on emails, scheduling travel. Working hours will be between 7am to 5pm PST/California time, Monday – Friday. We are looking for serious candidates to commit at least 3 years with the company.

Required experience:

1. Accounting, Quickbooks
2. Detailed, organized, reliable, responsible
3. Resourceful
4. Minimum 65 wpm
5. Fast and reliable internet.
6. Strong English writing and communications skill
7. Basic writing skills to coordinate vendors, schedule appointments,

Pay Scale:
Independent contractors.

Invoice us for your hours that will be kept track of with Hubstaff on the 15th and end of each month.

Our pay structure is set up to incentivize commitment and reliability to the firm. For each invoice, we pay the base pay of $5 per hour and the remaining is deferred:
After you commit to working every 4 months (completing 640hours), you will receive the deferred pay of $1.5 per hour $960. Thus, every 4 months, the additional $1.5 for every hour worked within the last 4 months.
At the end of the year (after you complete at least 1,900 hours), you will receive the $0.50 for every hour you worked the entire year.

After the first year, the pay will likely increase by at least 5% per year and depending on performance.
