Job Description

Position: Virtual Physician Liaison

Overview:
The virtual physician liaison is responsible for building and maintaining relationships between the healthcare organization and referring physicians, as well as identifying and pursuing new physician referral sources. The virtual physician liaison will work remotely to promote the organization’s services, increase patient volume, and provide education and support to referring physicians.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive physician outreach plan, including identifying new physician referral sources, establishing relationships, and maintaining regular communication.
Provide education and training to referring physicians and their staff on the organization’s services, quality of care, and patient experience.
Analyze referral patterns and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to increase patient volume and revenue.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, clinical leadership, and provider relations, to develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies that promote the organization’s services to physicians and their patients.
Conduct virtual meetings and presentations to promote the organization’s services to referring physicians and their staff.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in physician outreach, sales, or marketing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in virtual meeting technology and platforms, such as Zoom or google meet.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
