Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our business using QuickBooks Online. As a virtual bookkeeper, the candidate will work remotely, collaborating with other members of our team as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and send invoices and statements to clients
Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare financial reports as needed
Provide regular communication and updates to the team on financial matters

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a focus on QuickBooks Online
A high degree of proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including experience with bank and credit card reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with other accounting software is a plus
