Full Job Description:

GOAL- Build a pool of qualified applicants for all company positions BEFORE WE NEED THEM.

Identify all positions in company
Write job descriptions for each position if needed. Get from manager of position.
Work with leadership team to develop 12 month hiring plan
Create ads for every position in company, open or not
Write ads that have good copy and draw in applications
Make 3 variations of each ad with slightly different title and job description so we can rotate out and stay fresh
Post ads everywhere for every position
Indeed
Sponsor job and invite candidates weekly for each position
Review daily and reject candidates who don’t fit so we won’t be charged
Quickly screen and reject unresponsive or unqualified applications
Craigslist
Post ad every 2 weeks, every week if hiring urgently
Social Media- Linked in, Instagram, Facebook, tik tok
Post open positions with an ad appropriate for audience
Post about new hires we have hired
Create a “buzz” around hiring at IBEX Roof so that people become aware we are always hiring
Do phone screening for candidates
Have prepared questions for each position and record answers
Rate each candidate and move to next step if applicable
Understand and evolve the interview process for each type of position. Example- Roof installer vs office worker will interview differently.
Set up interviews with manager of department
Put on their calendar
Start with phone interview
Follow up with manager to get feedback on candidates
Move on to in person Interview if candidate is qualified
Build database of ranked candidates for each position
Use our software to upload candidate info when we have a candidate we want to add to our ranked roster
Constantly manage candidates on our roster.
Our end goal is to have 3 potential hires for each position we may need on the next year
Constantly improve-
Tweak ads to get better response.
Create processes and outlines for phone and in person interviews so that we get better results.
