The reason this position was created is…

The Virtual Survey Specialist helps improve the accuracy and efficiency of our field data specialist teams. By reviewing 360-degree photographs, video footage, online maps, and other information from commercial property sites (projects), this role correlates asset information (such as the placement of objects, icons, and other data points) to proprietary interactive software. The entry (population) of this data assists in the efficiency and efficacy of completing site plans prior to the arrival of our field teams.

Thoroughly review 360-degree photos and video to translate physical property assets into digital representations by drawing and typing on computers using proprietary software.
Spatially think through the navigation of each property (project).
Find, measure, and map every detail and physical asset of assigned projects.
Track and report on progress and issues.
Maintain expected workflow to ensure project deadlines are met.

Position Responsibilities

In this position, the most important ways to spend time each day is to…

Manipulate 360-degree photos and videos.
Map and represent property assets and landscapes (including stairs, benches, tree lines, shrubbery, pathways, etc.).
Count parking spaces.
Record pavement markings.
Note dumpster receptacle details and information.
Regularly communicate and report progress.
Complete and submit work in an accurate and timely manner.
Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The most important character traits, qualifications, and experience needed to be successful in this position are…

At least two years of experience in data entry, graphic arts, or a digital modeling role.
Photoshop or other photo editing or graphic design experience a strong plus.
At least one year of experience in 100% remote work or proven autonomy with decision making.
Demonstrably superb written and spoken professional communication skills, including excellent spelling, grammar, and diction.
At least two years of experience using Microsoft 365 products, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Experience with mapping, floorplans, or blueprints is highly desirable.
