Want to work for a rapidly growing graphic design studio in Melbourne, Australia? We serve small businesses all over the world to deliver brand identities, website design and development and ongoing design support.

We are looking for a smart and dedicated assistant to join our small team. You’ll work closely with our Lead Designer to support the day-to-day running of the business.

About the Role
As a Technical Assistant, you’ll provide essential support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our studio. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

– Supporting the Lead Designer with day-to-day operations.
– Learning to use Showit for basic website development tasks (thorough training provided).
– Scheduling content for Pinterest and Instagram.
– Creating graphic templates in Canva.
– Assisting with SEO-related tasks (training provided).
– Publishing blog content on WordPress (training provided).

Negotiable hours and salary. We are open to hiring either a part-time or full-time employee. We want someone who will make a long-term commitment to the growth of our business. You will be supported to learn many new skills, be paid for training and development and be offered bonuses and pay rises for excellent work.

Key Requirements
– Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
– Beginner to intermediate skills in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
– Openness to acquiring unique skills such as Pinterest marketing, Showit website development, social media scheduling, and using online apps like Flodesk.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Familiarity with Photoshop, Figma, Showit, Canva, Tailwind and/or Flodesk is highly regarded

Requirements for Home Office
– A fast and stable Wi-Fi internet connection
– A quiet and private workspace
– A MacBook Pro or iMac not older than five years
