Virtual Tour Coordinator & Social Media Assistant

I’m the owner of “Island Audio Tours” in Key West, Florida, a company that creates self-guided audio tours of amazing things about the island.

I’m now looking to expand operations and bring on a virtual assistant to help me with tour coordination and social media. I’m looking for a long-term partner, but would like to work part-time at first to establish trust and work expectations.

The job requirements are broken down into 4 main parts:

– Tour Creation Coordinator
As the TCC, you’ll interface with tour co-creators that live in Key West via email, answer questions, create google docs, upload content to an app called VoiceMap (I will walk you through this), upload photos to VoiceMap, manage co-creators content, create a content handbook and procedures, interface with the VoiceMap employees through emails, and finally, use google keep to track progress. This is a great opportunity for someone organized and personable.

– Social Media Assistant
As the Social Media Assistant, you’ll be asked to post on Facebook and Instagram, answer questions, create visuals in canva, post organic content, research tour content, and do a bit of photo and video editing. This is a wonderful opportunity to improve or refine your social media skills with content from one of the most beautiful places on earth.

– Partner Coordinator
You’ll be asked to reach out to partners via email, answer questions, and send them reminders on a schedule.

– Customer Service Rep
You’ll be asked to answer any questions about tours and installations if they come in.

I’m a solo business creator in the United States (Key West) that has been doing all of this myself for the last 6 months. Now I have about 10 tours in the works and really need the help! I’m partnering with local businesses like the Hemingway Distillery, Comedy Key West, the local Sea Plane tours, the Drag Queen community, the literary community, etc. These ‘co-creators’ will be responsible for tour content, but I need help guiding them.

One of the main goals of this position is to further develop the procedures to create self guided tours, so that we can bring on more co-creators and expand the scope of the tours available.

While this position is being fulfilled, I will be handling expanding the partner team, doing PR for these tours, the sales and marketing, and directly oversee the co-creator procedures.
