Position Overview:
As a Telecommunications Phone System Technician, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems for our clients. We are seeking an experienced technician with a strong background in legacy systems like Nortel, Avaya, and NEC, as well as expertise in modern UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solutions and VoIP phone systems such as RingCentral, 8×8, 3CX, and Nextiva.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain legacy phone systems like Nortel, Avaya, and NEC EC.
Design and implement UCaaS solutions to meet client requirements.
Configure and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems, including RingCentral, 8×8, 3CX, and Nextiva.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients, both remotely and on-site.
Collaborate with clients to understand their telecommunication needs and recommend solutions.
Assist in the training of end-users on telecommunication systems.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in telecommunications.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications.
Proficiency in legacy phone systems such as Nortel, Avaya, and NEC EC.
Strong knowledge of UCaaS solutions and VoIP phone systems, including RingCentral, 8×8, 3CX, and Nextiva.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience with 8×8, RingCentral, Nextiva, or Dialpad is a strong plus.
Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, UCaaS certifications) are a bonus.
