We are helping a New York City Volleyball Sports League find a Virtual Assistant to join their team.

Role Title: Customer Support / Sales Development Representative

Role Description:

We are currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support / Sales Development Representative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting customers with inquiries and providing information related to our Adult and Youth programs, including Leagues, Classes, Clinics, Summer Camps, Tournaments, Open Play, and more. As a representative of our business, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the growth of our programs through sales development efforts.

Responsibilities:

Customer Inquiries:
– Address customer questions and concerns regarding our Adult and Youth programs.
– Provide information on program details, schedules, and registration processes.

Registration Assistance:
Assist customers in navigating the registration process for various programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to registration or account management.

Product Knowledge:
– Develop a deep understanding of our Adult and Youth programs to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
– Stay informed about program updates, new offerings, and changes.

Sales Development:
– Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional programs or services.
– Actively engage in sales development activities to drive program participation.

Customer Engagement:
– Build positive relationships with customers through effective communication and support.
– Gather feedback from customers to help improve program offerings and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration:
– Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
– Work closely with the sales team to align efforts and achieve sales goals.

Documentation:
– Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
– Provide regular reports on customer inquiries and feedback.

Requirements:

– Previous experience in customer support or sales development roles.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
– Familiarity with recreational programs, especially in the sports and events industry, is a plus.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Proficiency in using customer support and CRM software.
– Strong spoken and written English skills
– Experience playing Volleyball. A passion for Volleyball is highly preferred.
– Ability to work US East Coast time
