We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior SDR to join our team. If you have a passion for startups, excellent communication skills, and a drive to excel in a sales role, we’d love to hear from you.

Title: Junior SDR

Location: Remote

Position: Part time with flexible hours (except for a weekly meeting on Monday 9:00 am EST). We estimate 40-50 hours a month in the first 3 months and then growing steadily.

Responsibilities:

* Generate new leads by prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and networking to expand our client base.
* Identify and qualify potential customers, understanding their needs and how Startup Geek’s offerings can benefit them.
* Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our content offerings, pricing structures, and value propositions.
* Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Startup Geek’s platform to potential clients.
* Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to develop sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, leads, opportunities, and closed deals in the CRM system.
* Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote Startup Geek’s brand.
* Provide timely and constructive feedback to the management team regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
* Participate in ongoing sales training and development to continuously improve your skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B setting. Experience in the startup or tech industry is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-driven mindset.
* Proficient in using CRM systems (HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Willingness to travel for networking events and client meetings.
* Passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and a keen interest in staying updated with industry trends.
