Job Description:
Startup Geek is seeking a skilled and experienced link building expert to help us grow our online presence and increase our domain authority. As a Link Building Expert, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective link building strategies that will improve our website’s search engine rankings and drive more organic traffic to our site. You will work closely with our content team and digital marketing team to identify high-quality websites and opportunities to build backlinks.
Title: Link Building Expert
Location: Remote
Position: Part time with flexible hours (except for a weekly meeting on Monday 9:00 am EST). We estimate 40-50 hours a month in the first 3 months and then growing steadily.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute link building strategies that are aligned with our content marketing and SEO goals.
* Conduct outreach campaigns to relevant websites and publishers to secure high-quality backlinks.
* Research and identify high-quality websites that are relevant to our content and industry.
* Analyze and monitor backlinks to ensure their quality and relevance.
* Collaborate with our content team to identify linkable content and assets.
* Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of link building strategies and activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in link building, with a strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
* Experience with link prospecting, outreach, and link acquisition.
* Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SurferSEO, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with website owners and publishers.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and technology.
