As a translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating a variety of documents, texts, and communications from English to Filipino and vice versa. This role requires not only linguistic proficiency but also cultural sensitivity and an understanding of context to ensure that the meaning and tone of the original content are conveyed accurately in the translated material.
Responsibilities:
Translate a wide range of documents, including but not limited to legal, technical, marketing, and general content, from English to Filipino and vice versa.
Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of translated content while maintaining the intended meaning and tone of the original text.
Conduct research as needed to understand complex terminology and concepts, ensuring accurate translation.
Collaborate with team members to review, revise, and improve translations as necessary.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Adapt translations to the target audience, considering cultural nuances and regional variations.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Stay updated on industry trends, language developments, and cultural changes to continuously improve translation quality.

Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Filipino, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience as a translator, preferably in a professional setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Certification or accreditation in translation is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
