Our company details:
We are landlords in Massachusetts who own both residential and commercial properties. We manage our properties through our own property management company. With 20 years of experience in this business, we continue to expand and grow. We are currently seeking someone who can assist us in achieving our goals.

Responsibilities:
1. Tenant Communication: Responding to tenant inquiries, scheduling property viewings, and handling maintenance requests.
2. Lease Management: Assisting with lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
3. Rent Collection: Managing rent payments, sending reminders, and following up on late payments.
4. Marketing and Advertising: Creating and managing property listings on various platforms, such as websites, social media, and listing services.
5. Financial Management: Assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking.
6. Vendor Management: Coordinating with contractors, maintenance workers, and other service providers for property repairs and upkeep.
7. Tenant Screening: Assisting with background checks, credit checks, and screening potential tenants.
8. Emergency Response: Handling emergency calls or situations related to the property, such as maintenance emergencies or tenant issues.
9. Legal Compliance: Ensuring properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and property maintenance standards.
10. Reporting: Generating regular reports on property performance, vacancy rates, rental income, and expenses.
11. Utility Management: Coordinating utility services (electricity, water, etc.) and handling related billing inquiries.

Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of Property Management: Familiarity with property management concepts, including leasing processes, rental agreements, tenant screening, maintenance coordination, and legal regulations (e.g., fair housing laws).
2. Organizational Skills: The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently is crucial for handling various responsibilities in property management.
3. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using computer software and online tools such as property management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and communication platforms like email and messaging apps.
4. Remote Work Experience: Experience working in a virtual or remote environment, managing tasks independently, and staying organized without direct supervision.
5. High Patience and Empathy: Demonstrating patience and empathy when dealing with tenant concerns, resolving conflicts, and handling challenging situations calmly and professionally.
