Web and Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Virtual Web and Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our web development team to create visually appealing, user-friendly websites and web applications, as well as produce graphic design assets, including logos. Your primary responsibilities will include designing website layouts, user interfaces, logos, and other graphic packages using software tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop. You should also have the ability to create new logos or graphics from scratch and enhance existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the web development team and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
– Create visually stunning and user-friendly website layouts and designs that meet project goals.
– Develop wireframes and mockups in Figma to visualize and communicate design ideas effectively.
– Use Adobe XD and Photoshop to create website elements, logos, and other graphic assets that align with the client’s branding.
– Design new logos and graphics from scratch, aligning them with the client’s vision and branding.
– Enhance and improve existing logos and graphics to make them more visually appealing and effective.
– Select appropriate color schemes, fonts, and imagery for web and graphic design projects.
– Optimize web designs for mobile responsiveness and fast loading times.
– Work with the development team to ensure designs are effectively implemented.
– Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure the designs meet the desired standards.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web and graphic design to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Proven experience as a web and graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work in both web and graphic design, including logos.
– Proficiency in web and graphic design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop.
– Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles.
– Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is a plus.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Work Hours:
Flexible work hours, ideally 4-8 hours per day or 20-40 hours per week, to accommodate varying workload demands. Initial hours will be 10-15 per week.

Work Environment:
Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
A laptop with at least Windows 10 or Mac OS 12.

Pay and Benefits:
