Web Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of web development and optimization. In this role, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs, perform website audits, develop effective strategies, and provide recommendations to drive online success. The primary goal of the Web Consultant is to help businesses achieve their objectives by maximizing the potential of their websites.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and identify website improvement opportunities.
– Conduct thorough website audits/evaluations using various tools and methodologies.
– Analyze web data, including traffic patterns, user behavior, and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement.
– Provide clear and actionable recommendations for optimizing website design, functionality, content, and performance.
– Advise clients on industry best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) and ensure websites comply with SEO guidelines.
– Develop comprehensive website strategies tailored to the unique objectives of each client.
– Assist with project planning and management for web development initiatives.
– Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in web technologies, digital marketing practices, and user experience design.
– Keep abreast of changes in search engine algorithms and recommend necessary adjustments to maintain high organic rankings.
– Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (designers, developers) to ensure seamless communication during project execution.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
– Proven work experience as a Web Consultant or similar role.
– Extensive knowledge of web development principles and processes, including HTML/CSS coding standards.
– Proficiency in using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to extract insights from data sets.
– Highly proficient in DNS and domain configuration, management, troubleshooting and resolutions.
– Strong understanding of SEO best practices and ability to apply them effectively.
– Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically about client websites.
– Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
– Strong project management and organizational skills.
– Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website building platforms.
– Highly flexible with working hours, including on-call weekends.
– Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to evolving industry trends.
