Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Designer and Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to the company’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Scope of Work:

Discovery Phase:
Review current website analytics and performance metrics.
Identify target audience personas and user journey maps.
Perform a competitive analysis of industry peers’ websites.
Branding and design specificationS / Assets sharing

Planning Phase:
Develop a project timeline key milestones and deliverables with a number of hours and dates.
Define the website’s information architecture and sitemap.
Create wireframes and mockups for key pages based on user requirements.
Determine the technology stack and content management system (CMS) to be used.

Design Phase:
Design a custom website layout that reflects the brand identity.
Ensure the website design is responsive and accessible across all devices.
Obtain feedback from the CEO (or other Company Rep) and make necessary revisions.

Development Phase:
Convert approved designs into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Integrate the website with a CMS (WordPress) for easy content management.
Develop custom features and functionality as outlined in the project requirements.
Implement responsive design techniques to ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.

Content Migration:
Transfer existing content to the new website, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) using relevant keywords and meta tags.
Create new content as needed to fill gaps identified during the discovery phase.

Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of the website’s functionality, performance, and compatibility.
Fix any bugs or issues identified during testing.
Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).

Training and Documentation:
Provide training to key Company Reps on how to use the CMS to manage website content.
Create documentation outlining website maintenance procedures and best practices.

Launch and Deployment:
Coordinate with web hosting providers to deploy the new website.
Implement redirects for any changed URLs to preserve SEO rankings.
Monitor website performance post-launch and address any issues as needed.
