Web Designer

Type: Part-Time / Weekly Commitment. We are looking for someone who is willing to work in sprints. So you may have a lot of work to do one week and less the next but we need you to be available at a moments notice to work on our projects.

**ATTENTION**
We are not looking for someone who is just going to use AI to spin out websites. We have used EVERY AI web creation tool. We know how they work. If this is your skill level, you are not the right fit. We are looking for a creative web developer to make UNIQUE designs. THERE WILL BE A TEST.

That being said, we do not need elaborate designs, we want simple, elegant designs for tech/ businesses.

Job Description: Are you a web designer with a passion for creating clean, modern designs? Can you craft visually appealing websites without solely relying on AI tools? If so, we want you on our team! We are looking for a dedicated designer who can commit to weekly work and deliver top-notch web designs on short notice.

Responsibilities:
* Design and develop website layouts, user interfaces, and page elements that are visually appealing and functionally robust.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to ensure our websites remain fresh and innovative.
* Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling designs.
* Create and present design concepts, mockups, and prototypes for review and feedback.
* Implement design revisions based on feedback to achieve the best possible outcome.
* Ensure all designs are optimized for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
* Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality designs on short notice.
Requirements:

* Experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your creativity and design skills.
* Flexibility to accommodate urgent design requests and adapt to changing priorities MANDATORY
* Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
* Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Preferred
* Ability to create original designs using AI as an aid.
* Strong knowledge of current design trends, best practices, and web standards.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
* Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as * WordPress
* Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.
* Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they impact web design.
