Web Designer

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to join our team and help shape the digital experience for our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user interface (UI) design principles, web development technologies, and a passion for creating intuitive and visually stunning websites. The Web Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Design engaging and user-centric website layouts and interfaces that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
2. Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate wireframes and user flows into visually appealing and functional designs.
3. Create prototypes and mockups to demonstrate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
4. Stay updated on emerging web design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of designs.
5. Optimize designs for responsiveness, ensuring compatibility across various devices and screen sizes.
6. Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and provide support during the implementation phase.
7. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
3. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
4. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
5. Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
2. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
3. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
4. Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
5. Knowledge of web accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG).
